One pot pasta is an easy recipe for busy person espesially for working mother. It is so easy that you just need a rice cooker.  You cook all your ingredients in the rice cooker. That’s all. You might wonder does it taste nice or I am just joking. I can assure you it tastes absolutely nice! Because I have tried it and that is why I want to share with you this easy and delicious recipe.

I like the fragrant of butter, sour taste of tomato and sweetness from the onion. The combination taste is just unresisted. Actually I didn’t expect it to be so delicious. I try this recipe because it is easy and time saving. So, try this one pot pasta recipe if you want an easy, simple, time saving and delicious recipe. Enjoy!

One Pot Pasta Recipe

Recipe adapted from 矽谷美味人妻

Ingredients:
  1. 100 grams pasta (Penne Rigate)
  2. 50 grams chicken breast (sliced)
  3. 1/2 onion (thinly sliced)
  4. 2 gloves garlic (thinly sliced)
  5. 1 big tomato
  6. 3/4 teaspoon salt
  7. 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  8. 1 tablespoon butter
  9. 300 ml anchovies stock

Methods:

  1. Season chicken breast with some salt and black pepper for 10 minutes.
  2. Place one layer of onion on rice cooker pot first. Then follow by pasta, chicken breast, garlics, tomato and butter.
  3. Pour in anchovies stock, salt and ground black pepper.
  4. Switch on rice cooker and cook for about 20 minutes.
  5. Once cooked, stir all ingredients to mix well and serve hot.
